HYBRID POST INSULATORS
Description:
Hybrid post insulators consist of the following components:
• solid ceramic rod made of C130 ceramic material, carrying mechanical loads and providing high stiffness,
• Hollows with LSR silicone rubber sheds,
• Cast iron fittings assembled on the ceramic rod using portland cementing.
Applications:
Operation under outdoor conditions in AC high voltage lines up to 100 Hz, mainly for disconnecting switches and bus bar supports as alternative for C4-550 post insulators.
